Even though we were not here for Christmas, I put up the christmas lights just before the storm because I love the look of the snow settling around the lights. And finally, my tiny moss gardens emerged as the snow melted along the walkway to the house.

Kids in Arlington County and Fairfax county have been out of school all week.
